Thanks to all the folks that came out for our Blanton Charity Shoot.  We raised $900.00 for Michella and little Ty.  This will hopefully turn into $1500.00 with our 3 to 1 match from Jeff Dunlap and Wilson Art.
Congratulations to Mike Morris as our overall winner.  Mike wins a set of electronic ear muffs donated by Phil Flack.

For those that don't know about Trooper Blanton:  Trooper Shawn Blanton, 24 of Cherokee was shot and killed while making what seemed to be a routine traffic stop on June 17 near Canton.  He leaves behind  his wife Michaela and newborn son, Brendan Tye Blanton, born seven weeks premature on May 31.  Tye has been hospitalized since his birth and will still need heart surgery at Duke University Medical Center once he  reaches 5lbs.   We have felt the loss as a community as he was not only a
Trooper, but a mentor and friend to many.  To help his family with medical cost  and allow Michaela to be with Tye as much as possible, we have chosen to
donate the proceeds from our September match to the Blanton family.

There is a link to the registration form below.  We are asking that you pre-register in order to allow us to "manage" the shoot that day.  We will have shooters shooting morning and afternoon.  Please specify your preference.  We will try to accomodate.
